Management is a process carried out to achieve an organization's goals by working in teams.

Management also means the art of carrying out and managing. Why art? Isn't art beautiful? Then where is the beauty? Indeed art is relative. But if we have the same assumption that the orderly, neat, and structured are beautiful. We will assume that management is something beautiful.
In theory there are 5 main functions of management, namely:

This is the last function of management, after everything is done then the last step is to control it. In this function there are important elements, for example evaluation and new policy making. This controlling function is important, so that the performance of the people in it does not decrease to a minimum standard if possible.

A manager is a person who tries to be a good servant for his subordinates. This is important because good interactions between managers and employees will have an impact on the level of work effectiveness. Being a manager must be able to control what is done by his employees. A good manager must know what his subordinates are doing. My contribution to management is to have good leadership and communication. The things I do like:

(1). Building an understanding of the company's vision, mission, and goals and its strategies and policies among subordinates or employees. The more understood below, the more motivated they are to actively convey their ideas in developing company performance.

(2). Encourage employees to exchange ideas and information. This form can be done on all lines, both vertical and horizontal. This is actually a form of appreciation from managers to their employees.

(3). Opening a multi-channel communication channel to employees means that the manager has been diligently listening and paying attention to dynamic employee aspirations. In a position like that, the same thing happens, namely the appreciation of the subordinate to the border or his manager. Therefore, if a manager wants his instructions to be obeyed by his subordinates, then he must be ready to listen to whatever his employees say. Is it in the form of questions, ideas, and complaints. Indeed, in practice receiving messages is not as easy as conveying messages. To receive messages from employees, a manager needs an understanding of the content, intent, and purpose of the message itself. In fact, it is often considered who delivered the message. In addition, a strong will is needed to listen to something from the subordinates.

For that I do as a manager so that the effectiveness of listening to subordinates is achieved

(1). Understanding the identity, especially the character of its employees, is seen in terms of communication skills, aggressiveness in asking questions, emotional levels, and knowledge of problems. This is important to minimize information distortion when the manager will listen and respond to something that his employees convey.

(2). Understanding what is conveyed by subordinates, including in terms of the content and purpose of the delivery of the message, reasons, and employee point of view. It is encouraged that employees convey this clearly or not blurred which can lead to multiple interpretations. The more you understand the smoother the process of listening and responding to employees.

(3). Always focus and be attentive to employees who deliver messages. There is no impression that the manager is harassing employees. This is important in giving four height so that employees feel cared for and appreciated for their existence.

(4). Be open in receiving messages from employees. Avoid communication stiffness. For this reason, if it is deemed necessary the manager builds the atmosphere of equality and harmony (informal channels) in listening to and understanding an employee's message and manager's response (reciprocity). As Disraeli said; "Man reigns with words".

In addition to having a great manager a company can have to have sophisticated technological progress and quality human resources. Therefore my contribution to management is to choose human resources for quality companies. Conduct training on human resources in technology. Establish good cooperation and harmonious relationships with subordinates. So that it can motivate subordinates to work better. As well as regularly evaluating company units periodically.
